Interior Designer Takes on Carbone Restaurant Las Vegas
Carbone Restaurant is a Las Vegas institution, known for its over-the-top decor and exceptional service. As an interior designer, I was thrilled to have the opportunity to work on a project that would bring this unique space to life. From the moment I stepped into the restaurant, I knew that I had to incorporate the same level of luxury and sophistication into my design.
One of the first things that caught my eye was the stunning window treatments. The restaurant features floor-to-ceiling windows that offer breathtaking views of the Las Vegas Strip, and I knew that I had to find a way to incorporate those views into my design. I chose to use a combination of sheer curtains and blackout shades to create a sense of drama and sophistication, while also allowing the natural light to filter in.
Another key element of the design was the paint color. I chose a rich, deep blue that added a sense of warmth and coziness to the space, while also complementing the restaurant's signature red and white color scheme. The result was a space that felt both luxurious and inviting, perfect for a night out on the town.
When it comes to furniture, I'm a big believer in using modern pieces that are both stylish and functional. In the case of Carbone Restaurant, I chose to use a combination of sleek, low-profile sofas and chairs, along with custom cabinetry and banquettes. The result was a space that felt both modern and sophisticated, with plenty of room for guests to relax and enjoy their meals.
One of the most unique design elements of the restaurant was the use of industrial design elements. I chose to incorporate exposed brick and metal accents throughout the space, which added a sense of grit and edge to the design. At the same time, I also made sure to balance those elements with more luxurious touches, such as plush carpets and rich wood accents. The result was a space that felt both edgy and sophisticated, perfect for a restaurant that's known for its bold and daring approach to food and drink.
As an interior designer, I'm always looking for ways to incorporate the latest home decor trends into my designs. In the case of Carbone Restaurant, I chose to incorporate a number of different trends, including Scandinavian minimalism and sustainable design. The result was a space that felt both modern and timeless, with a sense of simplicity and elegance that's hard to find in many modern restaurants.
Of course, no design is complete without a few key lighting fixtures. In the case of Carbone Restaurant, I chose to use a combination of table lamps and floor lamps to create a sense of warmth and coziness throughout the space. I also made sure to incorporate plenty of natural light, using sheer curtains and skylights to bring in as much natural light as possible.
As an interior designer, I'm always looking for ways to create spaces that are both functional and beautiful. In the case of Carbone Restaurant, I chose to incorporate a number of different design elements to create a space that's perfect for both dining and socializing. From the comfortable banquettes and sofas to the sleek, modern tables and chairs, every element of the design was carefully chosen to create a space that's both stylish and functional.
So, what can you learn from my experience designing Carbone Restaurant? First and foremost, don't be afraid to think outside the box and try new things. Whether it's incorporating industrial design elements or using sustainable materials, there are countless ways to add unique touches to your design. And finally, don't forget to have fun and be creative!
